- Exploring Claviger’s Landing:
Once you reach the docks, don't rush. Explore every nook. Climb up the lighthouse for some sweet loot and a unique item. Also, there's no such thing as stealing here; loot everything you see.
- Main Quest - Message from Afar:
Finding the Ambassador: Head north to the Strangleroot. You'll meet Kai and get a taste of local politics. The ambassador’s up there, but so are some nasty surprises.
Boss Fight: Inside the Strangleroot, you'll face your first real challenge. Use your environment - there are mushrooms that explode when shot, which can give you the upper hand. - Side Quests:
Dawntreader: North of Paradis, you’ll find Ofryc, who needs help rescuing his team from ancient ruins. This quest leads to some tough decisions about a relic and an Oracle. I chose to convince the Oracle to abandon his project - got me some nice rewards.
- Tips for Dawnshore:
Party Camps: Use these to rest, craft, and upgrade gear. They're your lifeblood in the wilds.
Gear Up: Your level matters, but your gear's level matters more. Keep an eye out for upgrades at every opportunity.
Emerald Stair - Nature vs. Nurture
- Nature vs. Nurture:
Northeast of Farmer's Market, you'll meet folks arguing over animancy machines. Talk or fight your way through, but remember, dialogue options can give you unique outcomes.
- Exploring:
This area is lush but dangerous. Watch out for traps and use your stealth or environmental magic to navigate challenges.
Shatterscarp - One Last Drink
- Thirdborn Tavern:
Here's where you kick off this quest. The captain wants his crew back together, and you've got to trek across Shatterscarp to find them. It's a maze, but the journey's worth it for the story and rewards.
- The Fossil:
Finding Ruanga might seem impossible, but look for the fossil on a cliff wall. She won't join, but it's part of the quest's narrative.
